WE WELCOME YOU TO 2022 EDITTION OF THE VALDEN YOUTH CUP

The Valden Youth Cup is a memorial soccer Tournament played in memory of lost beloved ones.
The Tournament is currently a one-day Gala with a number of teams competing against each other for the Valden Youth Trophy.

The Tournament was first played in 2019 at the Former Express Football club field in Kanyanya, Kawempe, Kampala, Uganda.
The Valden Youth Cup is governed and ruled by the footballing rules set fourth by FIFA, CAF, IFAB, FUFA and the VYC RULES Governing Grass root football for stage one group (ACADEMY GROUP STAGE ) and amature/professional football Governing Youth and adult football for stage Two (YOUTH/ADULT STAGE)

WHAT IS THE COST OF PARTICIPATION?
The Valden Youth Cup organizers will always update clubs and academies on the fee to register and participate in the particular edition of the VALDEN YOUTH CUP TOURNAMENT. The Cost of Participation for the 2022 Edition is currently 100, 000/= Any changes will be communicated officially.

Qn:WHAT AGE GROUPS QUALIFY TO PLAY VALDEN YOUTH CUP? Ans:
Valden Youth Cup ,is organised in two stages :-

👉1.ACADEMY STAGE;
This is organized for age groups:- U.10,U.12,U.15. Both boys and girls and style of screening shall be decided by the organizer.

👉2.YOUTH / ADULT STAGE;
This is organized for youth clubs or league clubs No age limit. No limited qualifications, Provided the club reaches all requirements for the Tournament

Qn:HOW IS VALDEN YOUTH CUP PLAYED?

Ans:
The Valden Youth Cup is played amongst 8 teams on rule. (this is currently a 1 day Gala forma ) and the format of play is as follows:-
For where the teams register.
8teams (shall play group stages of 4teams each group, promote 2teams from each group to play semi finals and then finals) (third place team is awarded)
6teams (shall play group stages of 3teams each group promote 2teams each group to play semifinals then finals) (third place team is awarded)
4teams (Round robin each team play each other .promote 2 to play finals) ( third place team is awarded).
2teams (Home and away basis and finals ) (from home and away basis a team is awarded for the third place ward and the finalist as either 1st runs up or 2nd runs up) so the team is awarded double).

The Valden Youth Cup is sponsored by the partners in business and clubs who pay fees to participate. The Valden Youth Cup Organizers welcome all types of sponsorships towards the success of the tournament.

Qn: ARE THE PARTICIPANTS APRECIATED? Ans:
Every participating team and 1st runners-up, 2nd runners-up and 3rd place team will be awarded their certificates of participation the second day after the finals, these certificates shall be brought to the club’s Offices by the Valden delivering team.

Qn: DO TEAMS GET TOURNAMENT REPORTS?
Ans:
All teams will receive a report booklet about the concluded Valden Youth Cup in 18days after the concluded tournament or League or Gala. And updates of the scheduled next tournament dates and other details.
